Haqi, I understand what u are saying. I have Indian family that is now American family. Re younger daughter vs older daughter - thats an indian custom/way of life. The way its percieved is : If a younger daughter got married b4 an older daughter, "something is not right" with the older daughter.

Thems the breaks, my friend.

My niece in SC got married to a "regular american" (whatever that term means!), about 3 months ago. She is happy, he is happy, our family is happy. Thats all that counts. She had an indian ceremony, and a church ceremony, before inviting the world for festivities.
