I disagree, bin laden is a religious nutbar as you have stated. IMO he want's only to please allah and get his reward in paradise... I don't think Osama believes that nonsense about 72 virgins and so forth. That's just the stuff Muslim fundamentalists teachers use to convince kids to blow themselves up. They don't believe it themselves. When push comes to shove they will save their skins if they can. That's why I believe Osama would use WMD to blackmail the US, not use them to go out in blaze of glory. If he wanted his 72 virgin award he has had ample opportunities to achieve it. That he passed on them says something. Remember his last video tape, released in November? In essence, Osama said: "Get out of our sandbox and we'll get out of yours."
