Ray At last you get the respect you deserve! As to rig counts, I can attest to at least one new rig in my area. There is an 11,000 acre ranch that borders the main route to the nearest town to me. Years ago they did a test drill, now they came back last month, tapped out the old test line and are now in full production on a six inch diameter, straight down rig. I stopped yesterday and asked what their rig rate was...the guy was kind of nasty (maybe the 24 hour shifts were getting to him) and never did say what the actual rate was, but that his company was way behind on past test tap conversions to full production. This is in CA now, so you have to figure other states with less regulation are opening old tested leases too, at a greater rate. Ken
