Ok, I know when to say when! I need help. am trying to find OLD historical stock prices/market caps for some of the gold mining companies. Also, I'm trying to locate a better historical gold chart.
What I'm looking for is what say, Homestake was worth at high in 30,82,87 so I could better tie it/ others to what they will be worth at $390 oz gold,(& even more hopeful)$502.

Under the also part: looking at
goldinstitute.com
I see a low of 296.75 high of $488.50 for 1982. In 1983 low of 374.25
& high of 511.50.
My question is: Did POG move from 296.75 up to 488.50 then on to 511.50 in 1983 before retracing to 374.25? If so, or not, what was date of the 82/83 high of 511.50? did this relate to IPO of Echo Bay
Mines in 83?

As I recall,Gold Stocks crashed with rest of market in 82 then with in month or two came booming back. Don't recall exactly though, as I was drowning in a high tech hell at that time. also a monthly graph for 1987/88 would be helpfull for all.
