Claude's objectivity indeed may be suspect. We understand he is on the payroll of AQI as their official spokesperson. We understand he is also trying to get on IMR's payroll as well, to even it out.

Where do you get this case by case basis for open pit mining? The ban is on cyanide usage, and also the grassroots anti-mining lobby in Chubut is very robust, widespread and has been entrenched for quite some time. It doesn't look like any sort of cherry picking is being done on mining proposals, nor that any such process is being officially entertained. What we have is a standard South American environmentalisto movemento, somewhat akin to a low level palace revolution, complete with parades, gunfire, and road blockages en masse. It may have apoint in the Amazon where they are rapidly converting Brazil to wet swampy grassland, but here they are just jumping on the well greased rails of the socialismo bandwagon.

The real deal --->
