I think current anti-war folks should consider that only a portion of Iraq has an "insurgency" - namely the Sunni Arab areas. There is no "insurgency" in the Kurdish areas nor in the Shiite areas - at least since al Sadr called off his rebellion. Sunni Arabs are only 20% of Iraq's population.

Why isn't there a Kurdish or Shiite "insurgency", who together make up about 80% of the country?
