Don > Why would it be reasonable to assume the dust cloud, which looks identical to those formed by the collapse of the South Tower, and which is being shown at the exact time of the collapse of the South Tower, was caused by something other than the collapse of the South Tower?
I see what I believe is an explosion (dust clouds which rose rapidly to 500+ feet) coming from WTC5 and 6. Subsequent pictures show both buildings with major damage. I have no reason not interpret this as having resulted from the event which caused the dust clouds although I don't know this as a fact.
As regards the apparent time of the "explosion" in WT5 and 6, 9-04AM is seconds after plane 2 struck the South Tower. Apparently, the CNN clip of the event was shown much later, after the collapse of the South Tower. For this reason, as I understand it, there was a time confusion but there was clearly only one event described. Nevertheless, the amount of the smoke, ? dust, coming from behind WTC1 certainly gives one the impression that it must have happened after the collapse of WCT2. Unfortunately the view of the base of the buildings and the Plaza where the dust would have been has been obscured by the CNN logo etc.

As regards "false" information, I suppose one has to make up one's own mind as to what transpired based on whatever info there is. I suppose, for this reason, the "explosion" at WTC5 and 6 is seldom mentioned. |
