Taxi: I do not think that AIPN is shortable by mere mortals, it can be shorted, however, by the MM's and by the holders of convertibles (in this case floorless convertibles). AIPN has done an interesting thing, however, they debentures covenant forbid the holders from engaging in shorting the stock against the block. I have no idea if they have ways to go around this, like through third parties based overseas. These covenants might be in the agreement to protect the underwrtiter as well.
