RE: "I see what I believe is an explosion (dust clouds which rose rapidly to 500+ feet) coming from WTC5 and 6. Subsequent
pictures show both buildings with major damage. I have no reason not interpret this as having resulted from the event which caused the dust clouds although I don't know this as a fact."

I guess I don't follow the logic. After spending the past week discussing these dust clouds moving like a solid wall of water at 35 MPH, and reviewing more than a few clips showing these clouds of dust flowing over the tops of buildings, why wouldn't the automatic assumption be that when one of them encountered a building to tall to flow over (WTC 7), it wouldn't just run straight up the side of it? We've also discussed at length the distances some of the debris was ejected from the building, and WTC 6 was certainly in range of that debris. We've also talked about the acceleration of gravity and the fact that the free falling debris would have hit in the neighborhood of 200 mph by the time it got to the ground. Under the circumstances, and considering the evidence, it's a lot easier to explain the observed dust cloud as coming from the collapsing South Tower, and the hole in the top of WTC 6 as being caused by falling chunks of that same tower.

The one piece of information in the article that might actually be useful is the speedy evacuation of Federal employees from WTC 6 between the first and second plane crash. Although circumstantial, one might suspect someone knew another plane was coming. Had the South Tower been evacuated in the same manner, a lot of those people would still be alive today.

So, while close to 800 Feds beat feet to safety, thousands in the South Tower were told to sit tight and wait for another plane. It would take some pretty cold blooded SOBs to pull a stunt like that.
