Well, I tallied up my results and see that I am up 90.365% for the year, at the close of market 12/14/04. My gainers were ELN (+305%), SEPR (+105%), MEDX (+82%), INCY (+56%), ALXN (+35%), and PARS (+6%), with SGEN (-18%) and REGN (-38%)filling out my portfolio. Without ELN in my portfolio, my gain would have been 36.8%. A link to my portfolio follows:

In real life, I held most of these stocks (as well as several other biotechs as well), and was a bit overweighted in ELN, SEPR and INCY. So, I am very happy with the outcome! I sometimes have a bad habit of trading too frequently instead of letting individual stocks run, especially in my IRAs, and this year that happened again to a certain extent <lol>.

If I end up in the lead, my charity was previously designated as:

Meals on Wheels Program
Beaver Dam Community Hospital
707 N. University Ave.
Beaver Dam, WI 53916
(920) 887-4046

If you could mention simply that this is "Biotech Jim's charity", that would be greatly appreciated.

Finally, I would like to thank Michael Murphy for hosting the contest for 2004. I would also be remiss if I did not mention that I greatly appreciate all the biotech discussion on this board, as it has helped me evaluate companies and their science, and has sharpened me as an investor. And, to those of you whom I have met, it has been more than a pleasure!

Now let's kick some booty in 2005!

Jim
