It was originally on Showtime- which we don't watch. But I rented it at the video store. It's about a young girl, just getting her first job, who is killed by a toiled seat from Mir. She becomes a reaper- collecting the souls of the dead. It's very funny, and very well written, but the family dynamic is very touching. She leaves a rather dysfunctional family behind- and they remain in the show- and that's kind of sweet.

See the pilot- if you like that, you'll like the rest of the show. One of the girls at my video store just raved about it every time I came in to the store, which is why I rented it in the first place.
