I would call "all men are created equal" the foundational idea for the morality of seeking egalitarian goals.
Hmmm. In terms of serving inspirationally, yes, you may be right. And I guess I could see that clause, in and of itself, outside of the context of the various writings of the founding fathers as suggestive of egalitarianian principles...but only outside the context of their philosophical and political ideals.
Viewed as part and parcel of/to the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and in particular the Federalist Papers, though, I don't see how anyone could reach that conclusion.
So I don't disagree with you, at least not completely.
Now as to the logic analysis and reasoning of your last couple of posts, Seems like common sense to me and well written.
