Raymond, amazingly I read it in a publication that is not online, a regional paper. If I see anything that directly addresses it online, I will post. Of course employers pay a matching amount to what the employee contributes. So I am sure there'd be a howl from many employers on such an increase. However, as I recall the report was based just on raising employee amounts eligible for the tax, without the employee contribution. I am sure there are some accounting/payroll gurus around her that can shed more light on this.
The point is, Bush is lying about the problem and the solution. Just as he lied about the so called "death tax."
