I think it is important that we are talking about fascism in this country and at Feelies. The reason columnists are writing about it is that there are some concerns that America is becoming a fascist nation. Some of these columns have been published here. I find it especially interesting that some of the right wingers who post at Feelies are saying that no one can say that--which is a bit fascist in itself. And this is not name calling. This is a concern for anyone who loves liberty.

There are lots of definitions for fascism. Let's explore a couple more, that I see have relevance to this discussion:

n. any political or social ideology which relies on a combination of psuedo-religious attitudes and the brutal use of force for getting and keeping power
