Absolutely agree with you. Bush has said he is fighting for freedom and democracy worldwide, and says that the Saudis (who don't allow a grown female to go out in public without the company of a male relative) are US allies. You have a pretty weak case if you think the ideals Bush preaches match his actions - if they did, the world wouldn't hate him.

You make it sound like Bush is endorsing harsh anti-female laws in Saudi Arabia and world hates him for it.


I don't make it sound like that at all. I said he claims to fight for freedom and democracy, but calls one of the world's least free and least democratic country's an ally. The point is his preaching does not match his actions, or he would "liberate" Saudis.
