I have owned THI, TkN and TFT long term. I am particularly fond of THI esp. after they took over Nicolet Instrument - an old investment of ours. Thermo is a great group alright.
However, in all of these I have not followed them closely just putting them away and "slamming the drawer" so to speak. Overtime I have become alarmed in finding one or the other has dropped badly such as TFT now - a 30% loss it appears over its high in my portfolio. I can't even remember but I think I received a stock dividend somewhere along the line in more than one of them.
Just want to say that looking at your thread and observing the intelligent appraisals helps me immensely and my blood pressure too.
Nothing to add.
