Vion Pharmaceuticals Files $75M Mixed Sec Shelf DOW JONES NEWSWIRES December 14, 2004 WASHINGTON -- Vion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (VION) filed to sell up to $75 million in mixed securities from time to time, according to a registration filing Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. New Haven, Conn.-based Vion Pharmaceuticals said the securities consist of common stock and warrants to purchase shares of common stock. The company said it intends to use net proceeds from the sale of securities to fund research and clinical development activities, manufacturing development, manufacturing and commercialization of product candidates, drug discovery, as well as for working capital and general corporate purposes. Vion Pharmaceuticals is developing agents for the treatment of cancer.
