I guess I thought it would be obvious that my expression of gratitude for the lack of content provided in the referenced post was less than genuine. I tried to make it clear in a subtle way that my tongue was firmly placed in my cheek. Sorry for the confusion.

I appreciate your contributions here and find such contact with a company to be valuable. However, whether you wish them to be or not, such contributions will be construed in every case to be an "official" communication from the company and, as such, should be treated no more lightly than your regular press releases. (Including appropriate legal oversight.)

The pointed and extreme criticism of other participants of this folder, the flagrancy of their offenses notwithstanding, is well-beneath the dignitiy of a fine company such as WavePhore. IMO, the appropriate response of the company to the mindless juvenile rantings such as was exhibited earlier in this folder is "none." Ignore them, Jen. . . guys like that just HATE ignorance.<g>
