Betsy's Page - Here's a scoop. I can't tell how I know, but this is on the up and up.

Bush will be Time's Man of the Year. The Bloggers were in the running, but didn't make the cut. However, there will be a nice write up on the bloggers, especially the Powerline chaps.

And there won't be many surprises in the section "People that Mattered," though I've heard that Kerry rates a sexy picture in a swimming pool.

It sounds like Time made the right choice. I don't see how anyone was a bigger story this year than Bush and winning the election. Basically, most major stories other than Scott Peterson, Janet Jackson, and Kobe Bryant this year traces back to him whether you like him or not. It would have been cool for bloggers to have been the cover story, but that would have seemed like Time's excuse to avoid choosing Bush. And the Powerline guys deserve a sweet write up.
