excellent coffee
Very much a personal thing. After a lifetime of drinking New Orleans style French roast with chicory, my younger son, who is interested in fine cuisine, has got me drinking expresso, paying attention to things like coffee beans, and pots, and grinds, and grinders.
You don't go to Mickie D's or Seven-Eleven for the exquisiteness of the coffee beans, nor the freshness of the roast, nor the delicacy of the crema. No, you just want caffeine, and you want it now, or at least ASAP.
The only time I drink convenience store coffee is during long drives after midnight, and for that, it's quite true that one of the amenities that divides an ok automobile from a good automobile is cup holders. The more cup holders, the better the car. That's an intuitive judgment that may seem silly to the outside observer, but nevertheless, it's quite true. Good cup holders = safety.
I predict that in a year or two, drivers will insist on hands free cell phone gadgets as safety devices. How did we ever live without cell phones? |
