Re: That's true and because of their lack of credibility a very much higher standard is applied to those who try to refute the official line that to those who adhere to it. And that's the pitfall most people stumble upon: "authority" doesn't equate with "credibility"... Of course, folks like Mr e are well aware of that --hence they wittingly, if tacitly, position themselves and their arguing in a logic of power. They are not genuinely interested in challenging or debunking conspiracy theorists out of an intellectual, rational, high-minded agenda... They are not fighting it out like scientific researchers, on the contrary: theirs is a bullyboy mentality. They want to sweat dissenters into abiding by the official truth... problem is: their propaganda scheme(s) overlooked the internet phenomenon and specifically the blogosphere. The government hacks and mouthpieces could hold sway in the age of broadcast, top-down communication... but they're overwhelmed, almost irrelevant, in our brave-new, bottom-up, authority-averse blogosphere. Hence Mr e's choice of a dummy constant as his monicker. Gus
