Good morning Sandi, The portal stocks normally run or fall together. Yahoo is known as the portal leader and one of the lone survivors of the crash. My point in posting Yahoo was to show that it was not moving in sync with GOOG but rather GOOG was taking on a life of its own (new up-trend) via the news that it was scanning books of major libraries which should break it away from YAHOO and other portal stocks business model.
