Just saw a warrant officer of 25 yrs. on tv. he's been court martailed for scavenging parts from two military vehicles. He said it was necessary because of broken supply chain, to complete his mission and keep his unit moving. Guess it's only Haliburton that can waste military supplies with impunity. It has been pretty much standard practice to do "lateral transfers" in the military, we even used to do it from our "hangar queen" ( a chopper that was used to supply parts to other choppers) here in the states.
