A few years ago we replaced our wooden deck, which needed treating and staining every year and was rotting in places, with a composite deck and we love it. We don't do a thing to it-- which for us is the prime consideration. It probably does need cleaning, as it looks kind of stained, but
WE DON'T CARE.
It has a lifetime warranty and is very attractive. (The early composites looked like cement and were icky.)
I bet you will love it, although you don't suffer as severely from the same household chore evasion syndrome as we do.
