well, the Real and the Rupee both have already performed very well - so i'm a bit unsure how much upside there is left, at least in the near term. however, i would say both still look good long term, and if the bet is hedged, why not? currency trends as i always say are sticky.
the Hryvna looks very compelling here. the risks are great, but again, if the bet is hedged it certainly makes sense to me. the hryvna's history is chequered, to put it mildly - but i would expect that the recent run on it will be reversed once the new election is over with, regardless of who wins it. the Ukraine is really a compelling contrarian bet imo....the country's economy has performed quite well of late, and there is still enormous potential there imo.
this is not to say that India and Brazil's potential should be played down...long term, both are also very compelling stories. but the Ukraine strikes me as the more immediate, short term opportunity.

greetings to Haim...

regards,

hb
