The founders established procedures for majority rule. Those procedures legitimately bestow upon the nation the wishes of the majority and obviate any charge of tyranny.

Gay marriage is being put to the appropriate constitutional test, the will of the people. When the process laid out by the founders is complete, the will of the people will prevail and any charge of tyranny will be silly.
