took a small call position today to motivate me to do some research on this one, its hard to see MSFT getting into the anti-malware business in a big way since folks would obviously think they are paying them twice (paying to fix a "feature" in windows/entourage etc is a bit much even for MSFT, so the revenue stream isn't obvious), someday MSFT may get around to fixing the "features" in windows/explorer etc that make malware possible but that isn't likely to happen anytime soon, also MSFT isn't likely to get into the business of spam/malware filters on servers (many of which are unix/linux/notes-domino) since IT folks tend not to have a lot of faith in MSFT in this arena
