Hello ravenseye,

Is it a coincidence that there appears to be a pattern?

The pattern is obvious to most people with even a single ounce of intelligence.

First of all, the scammers set up the scam. Then they release some hype, usually through e-mails, spam, stock threads, vague "news" releases, etcetera...

Next comes the fools who buy into this nonsense. They bid the price of the stock up to unbelievable levels, whereas the original insiders are selling into the artificial demand they created. If the demand is really hot and heavy, the insiders simply print more shares to sell...

About this time, the smart people become aware of the buying frenzy, and attempt to borrow shares (if they're lucky) to short the scam. Easy money in their eyes. Next comes the Internet vigilantes who also smell the scam.

From there, the stock eventually collapses. The longs blame everyone but themselves for their "misfortune", never acknowledging that it was their intention to sell to a bigger fool who wasn't aware of (or didn't believe in) the scam possibilities.

After that is endless finger pointing by those who lost money...

And the pattern is repeated time after time after time. Even the names of the players don't always change. Hey, just because the CEO's last 1000 ventures were scams, doesn't mean that the 1001st effort isn't legitimate... <g>

EK!!!
