Nothings settled. According to the NYT this morning sharon onlly willing to give up gaza and the more remote settlements. The wall sort of sets up new borders and this will never be acceptable to Palestinians. So either sharon will bend or there will need to be some sort of creative solution involving egypt and jordan. One of the other things that may prove important is to allow pals in Israel be allowed to be Pal citizens with right of vote much like they are being allowed to vote in janurary. In any case someone will need to be creative to make this work. Maybe a symbolic right of return for Pals who actually owned property back then. Like WW2 vets there cant be much more of them alive. Just thinking outloud. mike
