I am amazed at some decent and good conservative people who have been scared shitless by the propaganda of Bush administration and campaign that they are willing to sacrifice their rights to free speech and liberty. Last night I was listening to talk radio in my area where in one of the counties, sherrif dispatched officers to grill a mom for atleast 2 hours just because her 10 year old son made some dumb (really dumb IMO but they were coming from kids mouth). Talk show host who is fairly conservative himself was dumbfounded and asked his callers if this Nazi Germany police state. One of the moms from the same county called and said that 9-11 changed everything and she is willing to live with that kind of police state where free speech could invite a knock at your door from authorities in the middle of the night.
