Hey guys, the Q1 reports shows major disappointment for all of us current shareholders in OLV. Consolidated revenues dropped 31% versus last years Q1 results and they suffered a loss of about $750,000. The loss is not a concern given increased marketing expenses, but the BIG deal is the decay in revenues. I fail to understand how they lost sales in the current market; as a brokerage these guys should be making comissions on sales and purchases, so the volatility is actually good for increased comissions, yet OLV losses sales ??? What the hell is wrong ? Plus, they are spending more on marketing and yet they manage to have lower sales, shouldn't more marketing increase sales ?? It is very strange to say the least. They painted a rosey picture in the annual report and than this happens !!! I am very disappointed, they seemed to have things going in their favour, i will have to re-evaluate this company's prospects, maybe they are getting beat up by the Ontario competitors ?
