NOW ran a story awhile ago about a couple who were both reservists or guard and who were both headed for Iraq. They were both very close (within months) of fulfilling their duty when they were called up.

They had to leave their children with the grandparents.

If that isn't hardship in the military, what is? Why would Bush send in both parents into the most dangerous place on the face of the earth? What happened to family values?

Unbelievable.
