I hope so too.

It'll make the system a bit more honest and direct. i.e. apparently, some people haven't even reviewed their SS annual report (that gets sent every year to each working person).

If they did, they would know about the 33% reduction for Gen X and Gen Y.

So, take your pick: 40% reduction with 16% decrease in tax or 33% reduction with nothing.

Oh wait, you're a baby boomer, so you'll be fine. No reduction for you either way.

Will the current retires scream to have every working SS dollar spent on them, or will they let 2% get redirected to the next generation?
