That's serious. There was one person in the Bay Area that nearly died from a flesh-eating bacterial infection. Very rare, very deadly. He apparently got it from surfing.

Amazing what they consider out-patient care these days. Hope the medical company wasn't simply trying to reduce their costs by making it outpatient care.

Hope your Dad recovered from the infection. (I realize he eventually passed away, but I hope not because of the infection.)
