Malcolm,

No food fight intended on this. Most ecological (read STATE mandates) imperatives are not reasonable or economically wise.

I read the reviews on toilets and the research. Actually, quite interesting to learn some products actually work as advertised. With low-level technology, isn't it surprising that it took so long to make quality products?

'Wasteful' energy use is subject to prevailing prejudice and interpretation. Many talk of Wind Farms. Few suggest banning tourism (?) or superfluous trips to XYZ land, Ski slopes, etc. Like many, I'm always amused by those on a mission...

When I see student protests about higher tuition, my mind immediately translates the picture into Daytona during Spring Break. Yeah, the poor kids just can't afford tuition!
