It's a great poem. I heard a lot about the 150th anniversary when we were away. This anniversary was special for many reasons- first time, I think, that the commemoration has taken place in Balaclava- I seem to remember reading that the area used to be off limits, because it was near or part of a military base of the former USSR- but this year many people travelled to Balaclava to take part.
