IMHO if the govt had somehow REQUIRED people to save, with or without their employers kicking in 10% of all they earned over their working lifetime, into an IRA type investment we would be a nation of retired MILLIONAIRES. I did that and it worked for me, but then I had a Scottish uncle who taught me at a tender age. jdn
