The only difference here is that SI steps through the user posts one at a time (both directions) beginning at any point. It works exactly the same way as clicking on the number of new posts next to a PeopleMarked name, except that by using the method in the user's profile you can specify the "number" of the beginning post.

iHub presents a single batch of about 50 messages, and there is no navigation to the previous or next batch. It doesn't matter if the user has 5000 new posts; you only get the first (oldest) ~50 new posts.

Adding batch mode would be good here, -if- there is navigation between batches. I'll defer to Bob; if he wants to add that to the project queue, he can let me know and I'll add it to the list.
