Are you sure it's red and blue, or just that blue is primarily along the coasts and the big cities and the surrounding areas that are still the place most people want to be. Thus NY, San Francisco, Los Angeles, maybe Florida etc. You couldn't get me to move to the midwest if you told me my house would appreciate 10 times in one year. Midwest, blech! :) Need some culture, some nightlife, and some ocean.
