Every group should have the freedom to worship, and demonstrate, their beliefs, but those options must be done on an equal, and balanced, basis.

Very sensible position, which I agree with. Unfortunately, there are Christians who believe that, because Christians are the majority, that they should have pride of place. As well as non-Christians who want to remove all traces of religion from the public square.

I think you agree with me -- everybody should have equal access to the public square, but no taxpayer money should be used to promote any religion.

What caused Judge Roy Moore, the man who put the Ten Commandments rock into the Alabama State Supreme Court, to lose, was that he insisted that his rock be given superior position to all other displays, including ones by Jews and atheists. They were willing to compromise, but Moore believes that "every knee shall bend" to Jehovah so Jehovah's rock had to be bigger and in the center, and everything else smaller and in the periphery.
