W didn't win by much lazarus. He squeaked by. It was a terrible result for an incumbent, however, he DID squeak by I'll give the republicans that.

But to claim conservatives will "keep winning elections" is a little naive.

The right wing hated Clinton in 96 and he flew into office for a second term. Thats what a real incumbent victory looks like. Not this W crap.
