Not sure you will get favorable executions with limit orders. If you can watch the stock price closely you'll can get the best price when buying back calls. A rule of thumb is buy back the call if it has dropped 80% in value. If it is close to expiration and has "no chance" of finishing in-the-money, you can let it expire worthless and save the commission.
