A world that is hostile to our foreign policy is not a world in which we will ever have security. Our government is neither respected nor trusted by the vast majority of the people outside the United States. Our unilateral approach has isolated us and we have far reduced our own capacity to lead on important global issues. Security and global leadership -- that is the cost of our foreign policy.
