Question:
It appears that the "rosy employment situation" in the UK is based on what we in the US would call the "household survey" as opposed to actual workforce data. Is that correct? It is also appears to be held up by increasing numbers of public service jobs. Blair trying to hold things together for the next election perhaps? When is the next election?

UK recession coming?
