C B -- read the info on ALL over the counter meds. Many, inc pain meds, will cause stomach problem. Worse, many are tough on the kidneys and liver. For pain ask your doc about amitriptyline. It is about 50 years old and the sales people do not push it, many docs forgot or never knew about it. One at bedtime-- for most people, whenever you take it becomes bedtime. Another that mostly leaves your insides in 1 piece is hydroxyzine, I take 3 or 4 of those daily also. When Arthur Ritus visits me in a mean mood vioxx is added, in about 4 months that will change to Bextra.
