We had run adware and spybot without success. Finally last night, we ran something else that I can't remember the name of-- it took 45 minutes to scan my computer, found 80 things AFTER spybot had run, and then cleaned it. It was a free trial, and I suppose I will have to buy it if they come back, but it is wonderful. I will ask CW the name for you.

The bad part of this is not the annoyance, according to CW, but that these evil things actually are accessing our computers. They are tracking us. If they wanted to, they could actually control our hardware, but mostly they just want us to buy their stuff and when they see our preferences, we get these popups and they pass our address out to others. They have no honor.
I would never buy from a popup ad, they make me so mad. It had gotten really out of control here, and I was getting several every few minutes.
Now NONE.
So you may want to run this program-- when I figure out what it was.
