When you choose to DEFINE anything in such a way that both Being and Attributes are beyond human provability because you place it beyond the natural realm of logic and sense (i.e. in the supernatural arena), then you guarantee the impossibility of provability.

Predictability lends credibility, of course, to the claim of truth. Trillions of humans and sub-humans--and perhaps dolphins and pigs--have beseeched the imagined realm of the supernatural since the first grunt. As is well known...not only does God not respond to petitions--but the very idea that God can be bribed or bartered suggests a God in the natural realm--with finite intelligence and a self-serving ego.

At least Santa Claus listens and cares--but Santa is a jolly old sort and his beard IS subject to the laws of matter.

What colour were the footprints? Hairy or smooth?
