0.2% is pretty standard for for Canadian discount brokers. That's what Scotia Online (my discount broker) charges too. I am looking for something cheaper. So far I am down to two: Trade Freedom and
HSBC (courtesy of Dara). I cannot do anything until I come back from my Xmas holiday.
