Good news I feel like sharing. Just got back from the VA having received a heavy-duty walker; 400lb capacity, big wheels, brakes, and a seat for resting. And it folds for carrying in my little car. Instead of carrying all my weight with my cane, I can spread it between both arms and 4 wheels. I can walk in a standing correct posture and no back ache when I get back from my mailbox. All the while making the round trip to my mailbox (~250yds) in 10-15 minutes instead of 30 minutes it has been taking. The walker even has a removable small wire basket. I will be able to take out my garbage myself. Thank you, taxpayers, for the walker and the $41/month raise in SSDI payments starting in January. Merry Christmas ALL!!! Chas
