If you open account at Freetrade (it's part of Ameritrade) then you have 20 trades per month free of commision.

This is cheaper:-)

Now, the rest of service for Canadian stocks sucks.
But, if you have some other sources, for data, level2, live quote... then you can use them and trade at Freetrade for free.

Oh, and you can place trade order only in US$ so you have to do conversion.
